I was born in Boston, MA and raised in Cambridge, MA.

I went to Cambridge Rindge & Latin high school, where I was a member of my school's 4-time state champion chess team - My senior year we took fourth place in the nation. I also participated in the school's Russian exchange program, going to St. Petersburg and Moscow in 1994, and then hosting the student who hosted me. I also was responsible for resurrecting the school's Literary Magazine. I graduated in 1995.

I attended Antioch College from Sept. 1995 to April 2000, when I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater.

I now live in Mesa, Arizona with my fiancee Brook.
